Family Dialogue Program

All across our community, people are concerned about how our children are doing in school.  This program brings together a diverse group of parents and guardians who don't often have the chance to collaborate to address issues of academic inequity.  The eight-week bilingual (Spanish/English) dialogue program empowers a diverse group of parents and guardians with knowledge about the academic achievement gap in local schools and offer tools and support to become leaders for equity in education.  At the close of the program, participants develop and present a concrete Action Plan to school leaders about how parents and guardians can work with the school to promote academic equity and student success.
